Every town has hidden gems.
As a parent raising my children in Suffolk, I've come to realise just how many incredible businesses, community projects and events exist around us. The challenge isn't finding them, it's making sure other people know they exist too.
The small businesses working hard behind the scenes. The community projects making a difference. The local events bringing people together.
The problem isn't a lack of great things happening across Southwold, Reydon and Suffolk.
The problem is visibility.
That's why I created Millsight.
What Is Millsight?
Millsight exists to help local businesses, organisations, charities and community projects get seen.
Whether it's a new café opening its doors, a fundraiser supporting an important cause, a community event looking for attendees, or a small business trying to reach more customers, Millsight aims to shine a light on the people and projects that make our area special.
Why Local Visibility Matters
Many small businesses don't have large marketing budgets.
Community groups are often run by volunteers.
Events can take months to organise but struggle to reach the people who would love to attend.
A simple share, feature article or piece of promotion can make a huge difference.
That's where Millsight comes in.
More Than Marketing
Millsight isn't just about websites and social media.
It's about supporting the local community.
It's about celebrating local success stories.
It's about helping good people doing good things reach the audience they deserve.
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning.
Over the coming weeks you'll find:
Featured local businesses
Community stories
Event promotions
Local success stories
Marketing tips for small businesses
Website and visibility advice
If you have a story to tell, an event to promote, or a local business you'd like featured, I'd love to hear from you.
Together, let's shine a light on what makes Suffolk special.
